-I wanted to talk a little about Vintage Furniture and the quality you get when you buy reimagined furniture. I shop for pieces that may be from another time, but I can imagine what it could be and bring it into the present, I know the quality of old furniture build is better than any furniture you can buy at a reasonable price in a furniture store,
Today’s furniture is made cheaply, and never solid wood, there is a lot of “wood fiber” and plastic in all furniture. Before I select any of the furniture to redesign, I make sure it is in good shape. I love to sell great Vintage Furniture because I know whoever buys it will have that piece forever and will be a favorite to display.
When buying vintage furniture be sure to look the quality in wood, if any repairs are needed make sure you are confident you have the tools and materials to make those repairs. the thing is, it could look like it’s neglected and in bad shape, buy quality wood only gets better with time, with some TLC, skills, and imagination, it can be Beautiful and a SMART BUY.
